No multistarred stadium show would be complete without everyone on stage for a rousing, closing anthem. Thursday, it was Sly and the Family Stone’s “Everyday People,” punctuated by fireworks.
The South Africa World Cup 2010 Opening Ceremony is set for Johannesburg on June 10th. Shakira, John Legend, Angelique Kidjo, Alicia Keys and Black Eyed peas will be performing at the concert in South Africa which will formally open the 2010 World Cup. The concert will also facet harmonious performances by popular African artists and appearance by past and present football mythology.
